The following general terms and conditions of business serve as the basis for the contractual relationship between BastelGeck s.r.l. and its customers. Each order placed on the Bastelgeck.lu website is subject to the terms and conditions presented here.
Each order placed on Bastelgeck.lu has as a perquisition the acceptance of these general terms and conditions. An order can only be finalised when the customer accepts the general terms and conditions by ticking the box provided for this purpose. The customer has the right at any time to change or not to send an order.
These general terms and conditions take precedence over any other document on this website, and can only be changed or replaced with a written deviation or amendment.
All products are clearly represented by title, brand name, product number, and in most cases a description. The images of the products displayed on the site are merely representative, but the appearance of the products may change at any time as the manufacturers of these products sometimes change the appearance of certain models without notice to us. The images, as well as the descriptions and other illustrations of the product are not part of the contractual obligations between Bastelgeck s.à r.l and its customers. Bastelgeck s.à r.l. cannot be sued for discrepancies between the illustrations and the delivered product.
Placing a specific product in the shopping cart does not necessarily mean a confirmation of the sale and the product may be out of stock between the time the product is placed in the cart and the time the order is placed. This may be the case if two customers are on the same product page and the product is the last one in stock, or a customer in the shop has purchased it.
All prices listed on Bastelgeck.lu include VAT and are only valid on Bastelgeck.lu
All prices can change in short periods of time. Delivery costs (for Luxembourg) are free if your gross total exceeds 50€. If your Shopping Cart does not exceed 50€ gross delivery costs will be charged of 5€ (for Luxembourg)
Bastelgeck.lu guarantees any advertised price, but will not be held responsible in the case of a typing or printing error.
To establish a more personal connection, and to identify our various customers we ask all our customers to create an account on our site, including username and password.
Each order generates an automatic confirmation e-mail, sent to the e-mail address indicated by the customer.
Bastelgeck.lu reserves the right to cancel the order in the event of a dispute.
In the case of an exceptionally large order, Bastelgeck.lu reserves the right to contact the customer to confirm the order and quantities.
All orders must be paid either by bank transfer (various institutions) or online using a credit card or PayPal for example. We offer our customers the Luxembourg payment system Saferpay. This system operates with very high security standards and ensures a secure and confidential transaction, protected against fraud attempts by using complex encryption protocols.
The order is only accepted when the customer's credit card is verified by the SaferPay system. The customer is responsible for ensuring that their credit card is valid and of the correct type.
Deliveries are made by a delivery service of our choice (X-Logistics Capellen), or by Bastelgeck.lu directly. We deliver all over Luxembourg (for foreign countries, please contact us by phone or by mail). The customer can indicate his home address when registering on our website.
Delivery costs in Luxembourg are free for all purchases over 50€, below this amount we charge 6.30€ including VAT for delivery in Luxembourg.
The customer indicates his address and a valid telephone number when ordering. Bastelgeck.lu will then deliver the goods, but the order will be prepared. 2 to 3 days after order confirmation the customer will be delivered to the desired address; home, school, nursery, retirement home etc.
Bastelgeck.lu commits itself in the case of a cancellation, wrong delivery to the full refund or exchange of the item concerned at its expense.
In case the customer is not able to receive the order on the day of delivery, he/she should contact Bastelgeck.lu at least 5 hours before the appointment. (To find an alternative delivery possibility). In this case, the delivery costs remain with the customer.
In case of force majeure such as war, accident, fire, power failure, problems with our suppliers, epidemic, ice on the roads, earthquake, flood or any other event that Bastelgeck.lu cannot control, Bastelgeck.lu cannot be held responsible. In these cases, another date will be chosen for delivery, without compensation to the customer. The customer will be informed of this by Bastelgeck.lu by e-mail or phone.
In the case of force majeure, the customer may be excused from the obligation to collect the order. If possible, the customer will inform Bastelgeck.lu of this by e-mail, and will not have to compensate Bastelgeck.lu for any travel expenses.
In the event that the customer's address is incorrectly entered when registering on the site, Bastelgeck.lu cannot be held responsible for the non-delivery of the products.
The quality of the products is guaranteed by Bastelgeck.lu.
Bastelgeck.lu is not responsible for any damage, whether material or not, that may arise from the misuse of the products sold.
Bastelgeck.lu is not responsible for any deterioration in the quality of the products after they have been deposited on delivery, in which case Xpress-Logisitcs sàrl.
Bastelgeck saves all electronic data concerning transactions with its customers. This information will be used as evidence in the event of disputes between Bastelgeck.lu and its customers. Bastelgeck.lu will always try to settle disputes with the customer in a flexible manner but if necessary the Luxembourg courts will be contacted.
The website and its design have been created by INTECLUX SOFTWARE ENGINEERING SA. All rights are owned by Bastelgeck.lu. Any reconstruction of the site, in whole or in part, is strictly forbidden, whether in Luxembourg or abroad. Any replication and commercial use is illegal and will be punished by the appropriate courts.

You have the right to withdraw from the contract up to 14 days after the purchase, without having to give reasons.
The right of withdrawal is 14 days (goods in original packaging) from the day the customer, or a third party appointed by the customer, who is not the carrier, has received the last of the products. To exercise your right, you must send us to

A clear explanation of your decision to withdraw from the contract must be sent to us by e-mail or by letter.
To ensure that your right of withdrawal is respected, it is sufficient to send us such a document before the end of your 14-day period, informing us that you are exercising your right of withdrawal.
If you withdraw from your contract, we will refund any payments, including delivery charges (except for excess costs if you have chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after we receive your request to withdraw. We will use the same method of payment to refund you that was used to place the order unless another method has been agreed, and no consideration will be expected from you. We reserve the right to refuse the refund until we receive the goods from the customer, or until you can send us proof that the goods have been sent, whichever is sooner.
You can send us the products without delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you exercise your right of withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the products before the end of the 14 days. You are responsible for the costs of returning the goods.
You will only have to reimburse any damage to the goods if the damage is caused by use that is not necessary to check the proper functioning and properties of the goods.

You can return your products within 14 days. The return costs are at the customer's expense.
The language of the contract is German and/or French.
The illustrations of the products in the online shop do not represent binding offers but a non-binding internet catalogue. The use of the button "Buy" / "Order here" is a contractual order of the products in your shopping cart. The order is confirmed at the moment the order is received by us, and the sales contract is finalised by the second e-mail you receive.
